Clear.

In love with pretty things, Claire grew up in a family steeped in culture. Daughter of a sound engineer and a porcelain painter, art, whatever its form, has shaped her outlook over the years. After earning her stripes in graphic design, Claire became responsible for cultural communication and traveled to performance halls for over 10 years...
Then, when her daughter Marnie was born, Claire decided to follow a new desire and started making jewelry. This new artistic impulse was quickly spotted and she then became a columnist, offering weekly DIYs that were in tune with the times and a bit rock.
Enriched by this experience, she decided to source new wonders including the fine stones that she had always loved. Her research led her to meet her historic workshop in India. Atelier Plume was born in 2015.
Since then, this lucky charm dealer has managed to attract pretty names over the seasons with which she has created capsules... so we have been able to find her with Des Petits Hauts, Mathilde Cabanas, Alysson Paradis, Jamini and Bonton.

The jewels.

Each piece signed L'Atelier Plume is designed in Nantes and made by several hands in Jaipur. There, everything calls for creation: the people, the landscapes, the flow, the colors...
It is from this mix of cultures that L'Atelier Plume draws all its substance. From the love of stones to the privileged relationship she has developed with talented Indians, Claire continues her story today by creating new grigris each season that we want to collect endlessly.
The collections are composed of jewelry in brass, 925 silver and 9K gold... and always adorned with fine and/or precious stones. Her collections are mainly composed of bracelets, the flagship piece of her jewelry box, but also of necklaces, rings, BOs and other desirable wonders...

India.

The meeting with these first artisans opens up the field of possibilities and L'atelier plume takes shape. The trips to India follow one another but are not alike. Each time, the brand reinvents itself, draws inspiration, improves itself, confirms itself to become the extension of its desires.
Today, Atelier Plume works with several workshops, from Delhi to Jaipur via Gujarat, but it is in the state of Rajasthan, the "land of kings", the second largest state in India, located in the northwest of the country, that the majority of the collections are produced.
This region known for its maharajahs is rich in deposits of precious and semi-precious stones. There are emeralds, garnets, agates, amethysts, topazes, rubies and turquoises... Claire goes there twice a year to finalize her creations, select her stones and draw inspiration from the local culture.
Enriched by her 7 years of travel in this crazy country, Claire now has lasting reference points and relationships that allow her to calmly create whatever comes to mind.

Ready-to-wear.

Textile crafts in India are an integral part of the country's traditional culture. There are still many artisans today, often grouped in cooperatives, who maintain the traditional techniques of fabric manufacturing and decoration.
Traveling through the different regions of northern India, it was only natural that Claire, after falling in love with all the magnificent sarees, kanthas, Khadi cotton and other Indian textile arts, tried her hand at ready-to-wear.
Today, L'Atelier Plume has key pieces in its wardrobe, such as the Kali jacket, the Mija dress and the Geeta shirt... Everyday essentials redesigned in the colours of India.

"Made in India"

At L'Atelier Plume, we are proud to work with skilled artisans in India to create our unique jewelry and elegant clothing. The traditional craftsmanship of these artisans and their commitment to quality are the reason why we have chosen to have our products manufactured in India.
We are aware that 'Made in India' is often associated with mass production, but we would like to emphasise that our approach is different. We work directly with local artisans, allowing us to oversee every step of the manufacturing process and ensure that our jewellery and clothing are created with care and with the finest materials and fabrics.
We are also committed to supporting local artisans and contributing to the local economy. By working with Indian artisans, we help to preserve traditional skills and create sustainable jobs. We are proud of our ethical and sustainable production approach, and we hope you enjoy the quality and beauty of our products made in India.
